New blog features and NRO on Twitter

To celebrate the Gunton Archive Project blog having received over 1,000 views and 15 subscribers in its first two months, I recently made some changes to the blog which should make it even easier to follow.

For those of you who like to read their favourite blogs on the go, perhaps on the bus or when you are unable to access a computer, I have enabled a theme for smart phones.

I have also added an RSS Feed widget.

Thank you for your interest so far. If you would like to subscribe or use the RSS feature please use the relevant widgets, which can be found on each page of the blog. I would also welcome more comments, if you would like to share information about the estate or ask questions about the project or the collection.  You could also ‘like’ posts. This will also let me know what interests readers of the blog and will allow me to focus on subjects people want to know more about.

The Norfolk Record Office and Norfolk Heritage Centre are now on Twitter. The Heritage Centre is based at the Millennium Library in Norwich. The joint Twitter account reflects how the work of these two centres complement one another and the advantages of using both to carry out research. ‘Tweets’ will cover a range of topics including the Gunton project.

I have added links to this and to Picture Norfolk, a brilliant source for images relating to the history of Norfolk. These links can be found on the Links page by clicking the tab above.
